FARE
PAYMENT POLICIES
- All
fares must be paid at the time service is provided.
- Fares
may be prepaid either by mail, telephone, or as a last
resort, on the bus. In order to provide a more timely
service, our customers are encouraged to purchase their
tickets in advance, to minimize any extra time for our
drivers to process your payment during travel.
- Drivers
may only accept payment by credit card - absolutely no
cash or check payments will be accepted by the Driver.
- Fare
prices are subject to change without notice.
CREDIT CARD ACCEPTANCE
POLICY
- VISA and MASTERCARD
are accepted.
- Credit Card payments
can be made by phone, fax, or at the bus.
CHECK ACCEPTANCE POLICY:
- No Checks of any
kind will be accepted by our drivers.
- Checks drawn on an
Alaska State Bank only may be used for advance purchases.
- Checks numbered 1000 or
over only. Checks must have
preprinted current name, address, phone number, and drivers
license number.
- No checks are accepted
for student discount fares.
- A $50 Returned Check fee
will apply to any check returned for insufficient funds.
REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS
No refunds for
no-show reservations. Cancellations less than
48 hours prior to pickup receive a 50% refund.
All other cancellations, full refund minus 10%
processing fee. Tickets are valid for
12 months from the date of purchase. AVS is not responsible for lost,
stolen, or
unused tickets.
